A Brief History

This one-of-a-kind survivor Vintage Travel Trailer has a very unique design featuring a tourit window in the rear.  Information gathered from the original owner’s estate indicates that it is a 1920's home built trailer. In phenomenal original condition, it was stored in a Vancouver, Washington barn since 1941. 

About This Trailer

All of the original wood skin was intact with the exception of the rear panel which has since been replaced.  New flooring was installed along with new countertops and upholstery.  New period lighting was also installed.  The original hardware is intact with the exception of replacement 1920's Model A window cranks due to the original cranks breaking.  The windows all roll down.  The trailer is equipped with a wood burning fireplace. Based on trailers of similar era, we have added a decorative brass fireplace surround and a two burner cooktop. The original Ice box is in great condition. 

The trailer is sold unstaged, but the period decorations could be negotiated.  We have maintained the patina of the original masonite exterior with the exception of the very rear body panel. The one panel was reframed and replaced.  It has been painted to match the original color.  The original canvas on the roof of the trailer has been removed and replaced with new sealed canvas.  The trailer sits upon the original wood spoked wheels and the original rubber.  This trailer is a priceless piece of history and would make a significant historical addition to any collection.
