SOLD.....This is arguably one the best vintage Spartans out there. Meticulously restored from the ground up this trailer won a best in show award last year at the Palm Springs Modernism Vintage Trailer Show the premier Mid-Century show in the US. The restoration was featured on Season 1 of Flippin’ RVs.
This is a very rare and desirable model as it was the last year the Manors were made and the only 328 that we’ve been able to find. Not only is it a time capsule but it was also upgraded with all the modern amenities you need to take this beauty on the road. We have listed the details below.
Interior Features:
Interior panels and cabinetry were meticulously removed, repaired and replaced as needed, sanded down and refinished.
All new wiring ran.
Inverter, charger, batteries and portable solar panel added.
New LP system.
New insulation.
Marmoleum flooring installed, in a tasteful period pattern.
Original heater restored and refinished.
A/C unit added, refinished to match the heater.
Original couch reupholstered in a commercial grade but classic textured fabric, and new mattress in the hid-a-bed.
Original dining table pulls out to comfortably accommodate at least 4 guests.
New kitchen faucet.
On-Demand hot water heater.
Led lighting added to kitchen.
Vintage mid-century pendant lights added to the front living area.
Original fridge & range restored and function great!
Fresh, black & grey water tanks added.
Full bathroom with original tub, sink and medicine cabinet, aluminum shower surround on the drivers wall, original toilet has been replaced with a new water efficient porcelain bowl rv toilet, although we have the original porcelain toilet would be happy to include.
The rear bedroom features the original double twin beds with new mattresses, and a TV and DVD player. The TV is tastefully hidden in the cabinet at the foot of the drivers side bed.
This trailer has an amazing amount of storage. With a slide out pantry, and cabinets extending the passenger side wall from the heater to the rear bedroom. The bedroom door when closed exposes a full wardrobe with room for hanging clothes and several drawers.
Original countertop in the kitchen in great original condition with stainless backsplash.
Barkcloth curtains in a fabulous Vintage Hawaiian inspired pattern bring in the perfect pop of color in the front living areas. Aluminum blinds in kitchen and bathroom.
Tasteful, plaid curtains in the rear bedroom.
Exterior Features:
All windows and doors were restored, screens replaced.
The inside of the doors were upholstered as to original specs, much like a vintage airplane, in a mid-century vinyl pattern.
Electric front jack.
4 Scissor jacks mounted to frame front and back for easy stabilization.
Bike rack receiver.
Polished exterior.
New wheels and tires.
New LP tanks.
This dual axel trailer came out of the factory at approximately 5950 lbs. We have added holding systems, and eliminated the tanked hot water heater.
